Rosa Reid, LCSW

Serving the Community Since 2004

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who obtained my Undergraduate and Masters Degree in Social work from Long Island University with a concentration in Gerontology. I developed a passion for supporting elder adults to address their personal, social and environmental challenges. My desire to help people later expanded from older adults to children, and adolescents. I have worked in various therapeutic settings such as hospitals, nursing homes, and hospice, inpatient and outpatient services. I have been a social worker serving the community for 14 years. I am experienced in working with families and individuals 8 years old to adulthood. I specialize in treating family change, grief, complex diagnosis, crisis intervention, depression and trauma. I incorporate a host of techniques such as goal oriented therapy, mindfulness, coping skills, behavior modification, positive thinking, and stress reduction.
